How a smoothing appointment runs.

A look at your hair first
We check the condition and the colour history in your hair, ask how straight you actually want it, and choose between nanoplasty, keratin and Qiqi Vega on that.

Worked through and sealed in
The treatment goes through your hair in sections and is sealed in with heat. Allow a longer appointment than a colour, and we will tell you exactly how long yours needs when you book.

Home care that holds it
We show you how to wash and dry it so the smoothing lasts, and point you at the products that will not strip it back out.

Smoothing is its own craft, and Mel is our nanoplasty specialist. If you have had a treatment somewhere else that dropped out in a fortnight, or left your hair flat instead of smooth, bring that with you when you come in. It tells us more than a photo does.

Questions before you book.
How long should I allow for my appointment?
As a rough guide, a cut and blow dry is about an hour, an all-over colour two to three hours, and foils or balayage three to four. If you are booking hair, face and body together we build the run sheet around you, so tell us what you need and we will give you a realistic finish time before you arrive.
